Our NEW beginning!

FAMILY UPDATES:

So much has happened these past few months! The most exciting thing that has happened is that we moved!! :) We no longer live in an apartment! We are now living in a House in American Fork, with a HUGE backyard! We love it! Its a 3 bedroom 1 Bath and a unfinished basement! We LOVE not having people above or below us! Another great thing that has happened is we adopted a Puppy!!! Its a Male 4 month old Chocolate Lab and he is SO much fun!! Because he is mainly Danes dog he named him Apollo! He and Adilyn get along really well its adorable seeing them together! :) So we have a new home, new puppy... so lets get onto updates on Adilyn! :)

ADILYN:

Adilyn is now 20 months old and she can Finally run without falling down! She is all over the place, Literally! She is now 22lbs and 32 1/2 inches tall!! She is very healthy and happy! She loves playing outside, its her favorite place to be! She talks ALL the time and is now talking in small sentences like: "Bye Guys", "Whos that?", "Ew.. That's gross", "Mmm.. That's good", "Want some Please", "Whats that/this", "look at this", and of course "Go outside Please". Lol She talks so much is so cute and its nice not having to guess what she is saying! lol But she is doing great and is such a happy little girl!

DANE AND CANDICE:

Dane and I are doing great as well. Not a lot is new with us though! Dane starts school again at UVU on the 29th of August! He is so excited to go back to school but he just realized that it starts in 7 days! lol We couldn't believe how close it was! As for me not to much is different. Dane and I both deleted our facebook accounts for the time being but im sure we will be back on Facebook soon but until then our Blog will be our main way of sharing our family updates! But we are loving our new house and puppy! everything is going great with us and we couldn't be any happier! :) We Love you all! Here are some pictures we have taken over the past few months! :)

Its been a long time!

Wow! Where do I begin?! Well the last time I posted something on our blog it was Easter so I think its time to update everyone! JWell let’s start with Adilyn! She is now 18 months old and is becoming a little person! Lol She is no longer our little baby… she is this little girl with such an amazing personality and a loving heart! She talks so much and always has something to say! She loves cuddling and giving kisses and has so much love for everyone. It takes her awhile to warm up to people but when she does all she can do is love them and give kisses! Physically & mentally she is growing like crazy. Every time we go to the pediatricians they say she is very advanced for her age and we must say, we agree! J She now can run but still falls occasionally. She is now almost 21 lbs (yes she is still small but very fierce!) and she is in the 15^th percentile in weight and she is in the 60^th percentile for height. She is our little string bean! Lol She now has all of her teeth but her two year molars! And she loves showing them off!! She loves giving this HUGE smile showing all her pretty teeth! Lol Adilyn is becoming a huge fan of drawing. When she sees a pen or marker she needs to have it so she can draw on paper! It’s really cute! She is such a fun little girl and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful child! We love her so much and would be lost without her! J

Not much is new with Dane and I other than Dane starting school this fall. But pretty much everything is the same. We are so thankful to have each other and Adilyn.

We had a wonderful Fathers and Mothers Day. Dane treated me like a queen and made sure I didn’t lift a finger on anything! Lol He made me a wonderful dinner; Steak with a scallop & shrimp alfredo sauce and it was delicious! He is a great cook! And he also made little notes he gave me throughout the day from himself and Adilyn. It was adorable! J

On Fathers day I made Dane a big breakfast and we had a big dinner as well! His real present was from Adilyn and I; an awesome kit from "Jo-Anns" and Adilyn and I put it together. It was a frame with one side being clay and the other side holding a picture. In the clay I put Adilyn’s handprints in it with her age and name. He LOVED it! When I told my sister what I was doing for him she loved it so much she did it for her husband as well with her two kids! Lol

The past few months have been wonderful for us! We are so very grateful and blessed for having such a wonderful little family and for having great families on both sides.

 Dane, Adilyn and I went to Deer Creek (lake up the Provo canyon) on Saturday and we went swimming. It was still a little cold but Adilyn loved it once she got use to the water! Man i miss swimming pools! lol

Happy Easter!!!

This weekend has been SO busy! On Friday we got our new car and its so nice! We no longer have to worry about our car starting anymore!! :) We got a 2007 Toyota Corolla! Its so nice having a 4 door! It was getting ridiculous to have a toddler and a 2 door car!  But Thanks to Dane's parents we were able to get a family friendly car, and we couldn't be more thankful! 

On Saturday we celebrated my niece's 2 year old birthday and we also had a Weibell family picnic during the same time so we were kinda worried about that but we worked it out! When Dane, Adilyn and I show up at my dads house for the birthday party there was a huge surprise! My sister Liselle, her husband Ryan and their daughter Cami were there from California!! They came down for Ryan's brothers graduation from BYU! It was totally unexpected and so awesome seeing them! We saw Liselle and Cami a few months ago but we haven't seen Ryan since Adilyn was 3 months old! It was SO awesome seeing him! We have missed them all so much! But during the party Dane went to his families get together and played Baseball and had a lot of fun! Saturday was so much fun and it was SO awesome seeing Ryan, Liselle and Cami!

On Sunday we had a little Easter Egg Hunt for Adilyn! It was so much fun! We got a pack of 12 eggs from Walmart and we put them all over our living room! she had so much fun finding them, but she really loved putting them in the Basket! lol Sunday evening Dane, Adilyn and I went to Danes parents for Easter dinner! I wish i wasn't feeling so icky that day so i could've eaten some of the delicious looking dinner but I didn't feel very well. But dinner was great! We got to see most of Danes siblings which was great! This weekend was very very busy but so much fun! Thank you both the Weibell and the Bennett family for this weekend! :) We Love you All! :)

Family Updates!

Dane & Candice

Well a lot is going on right now! Dane is going back to UVU and starts on May 9th, maybe, if he decides to go summer semester. He is so looking forward to going back to school full time. He is loving his job but not so much loving waking up at 4am! lol Candice is loving being a Mom and seeing Adilyn get bigger day by day. 

Adilyn

She is now 15 months old! She is talking so much and is understanding so many new things. She has said a few new words like: oh dear, buh bye(not bye bye lol), Ni Ni (night night), Uh Oh (every time she drops something or sees someone drop something lol ), stinky, NO (her new favorite word), whats this... and more. Dane and I have recently started speaking Spanish to her. Plus she watches the TV show "Dora the Explorer" which teaches little kids how to speak Spanish. The coolest thing about this is she is actually starting to understand some of it!! For example, if she is holding something she shouldn't be Dane tells her in Spanish to not do that and to put it down and she does!! She is so smart and is understanding more and more every day and its so exciting!! 

Its great that she is becoming her own little person but not so great at the same time! She is getting more and more independent! which is great but VERY hard to handle when she does things just to test her boundaries! If she is great at pushing our buttons now i cant even imagine how it will be when she is 15 years old. Oh my...

Family

We are going to be getting a new car in the next few months and we cant wait!! Our car has been having a lot of problems lately, down to having trouble starting. So we are very excited to get a new car! We are still in south Provo and loving having our place we can call our own. We have had a few concerns with our Apt complex but now that we have new LDS management things are going to be turning around. We are so excited for our complex to be BYU approved and NO pets!! We are sick of dogs barking all night outside our window and for no more drunk people yelling and singing in the middle of the night! lol We took Adilyn to The Living Life Aquarium in Sandy and she LOVED it! She has always loved fish and she loved seeing the huge sharks and rays and jellyfish and many, many fish! But we are all doing great and enjoying our little family :) Things are finally starting to look up for us and we couldn't be any happier.

Our little girl is Walking and so much more!!!

So about a week ago Adilyn started walking and is already becoming a pro! She loves being able to do "big girl" things and she is really following me everywhere now! lol She is such a fun little girl and its so crazy to see her walking!! Its still new to us and every time we see her crawl off the couch and walk everywhere she goes its like.... WHOA?! What happened to our baby girl!? But we love it and she is becoming such a big girl!

Adilyn is also starting to talk ALL the time!! She says so many words now. Some of the words she has said now are.... Hi, Daddy, Ma Ma, Fish, Stuck, Ball, No, Ya (we are still trying to get Yes out of her lol ), This, That, Dog and Kitty! Thats all we can think of off the top of our heads! :) But you know whats really great?! She understands almost everything now!! She brings/gives things to you when you ask(well most of the time lol), she points at the food she wants to eat and most of the time its either grapes or peaches! lol She knows what "push the button" means plus she is finally shaking her head to yes and no questions we ask her which is GREAT cause its no longer a guessing game! :)

Another thing new with our little Adilyn.. she has 5 molars coming through, yes 5!!!! But almost all of them are out now which is so great cause she is finally sleeping through the night again.. and so are we! lol
