Merry Christmas!

This year for Christmas Eve we went to Danes parents house and had the traditional Christmas Eve Clam Chowder and Shrimp Cocktail!! It was absolutely delicious! After dinner we got our presents & pajamas and watched all the little nieces and nephews act out the Christmas story while Grandpa Weibell read it! It was so much fun and we love seeing the little kids act out the story! That night when Dane, Adilyn and I got home we opened our Christmas Eve pajamas and then we went to bed. Christmas morning/afternoon we spent together as a family and opened all of our wonderful presents/stockings. We got so many wonderful gifts from each other and our families!! Thank you everyone for all the gifts! For Christmas dinner/evening we went over to my Dads house and ate a delicious Turkey, a family recipe potato dish and green beans. Then we opened our presents from each other and once again we got so awesome gifts!! Thank you to both Weibell family and Bennett Family for all the amazing gifts. We love all of them!! We love you all so much. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and soon to be a Happy New Year! Here are some pictures we took!

When we were done opening presents and cleaning up we noticed our house was more quiet than normal so we went back to Adilyn's bedroom and she wasn't in there and then we walked into our room and she crawled up onto our bed under our covers and passed out! lol It was so adorable. She was exhausted from all the present opening! :)

Baking!

I have been loving all the cooking i have been doing lately! I love cooking and especially love baking! I love making treats for people and for my hubby Dane. Yesterday for fun I made some Chocolate Chip Cookies but made them more Christmasy :) What i did was make regular chocolate chip cookies and then once they were cooled Adilyn and I put some frosting on one cookie and then put another cookie on top to make a sandwich. Then we put let drops of frosting on top to :) it was so much fun and Dane LOVED them! He thought they were Delish! :) Once he had dinner, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup with Dumplings and then the cookies for dessert he laughed and said "Your family cracks jokes about how you use to not be able to cook but that is definitely not the case now!!"  lol I took a picture of them and wanted to share them with you! :)

Happy 3 Year Anniversary!!

WOW! I cannot believe that I married the man of my dreams 3 years ago today! I remember the first night I met Dane. He was so cute and couldn’t keep his eyes off me! Lol every time I looked up he was staring at me and smiling! J I remember thinking wow he is CUTE! Lol and then he came up and talked to me and I felt like I have known him forever and I knew he was worth taking a risk on! J From that day on we were always together or texting! I was so happy and for a long time I didn’t think I was going to have a happily ever after and find the perfect guy who loved me for me, until Dane! I have never been so happy and in love before. I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband who is literally my whole world! Dane has helped me and strengthened me in so many ways. He has given me so much and is there continually for me. He is so strong and independent and stubborn and I love it! He is the greatest husband I could’ve asked for, the best father I have seen and the best friend I have ever had!
I love you so much Dane and I am so happy! These past 3 years have been difficult at times but worth every minute. You have given me so much including the most beautiful little girl I could’ve asked for. J You are such a caring, loving and loyal man and I cannot wait to spend forever with you!
Happy 3 Year Anniversary Dane! J
